You might see some young ghosts and goblins workin’ the crowd with a bike pump at the start during the Columbia Monster Bash. They’re not being tricky, just trying to raise some money to give treats (warm gloves and hats) to those low-income cyclists that need gear this winter. Bring your dollars or your warm winter gear to donate to this great cause!

Purpose of PedNet’s Warm Winter Bike Gear Drive: PedNet is collecting warm winter bike gear for low income individuals in Columbia who bicycle or walk as their primary means of transportation. We would like people to donate: gloves (brown jersey gloves, and one-size fits all gloves are great for layering); thin stocking hats and headbands that will fit under bicycle helmets and cover ears; neck gators; and/or balaclavas. We will use any monetary donations to purchase these items.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
The ride is 17-miles each way (34 total) from Columbia, MO to Rocheport, MO along the scenic Katy Trail. Along the way, experience beautiful bluffs, fall colors, and the Missouri River.
9 am - 10 am Sign in at Shiloh Bar and Grill in Columbia, MO - DAY OF REGISTRATION AVAILABLE TIL 10 AM! - Check this map link for the best spots to park.
12 pm - Halloween Party at Katfish Katy's in Huntsdale!
The Off Track Monster Bash Party on the route! Fiendish fun for all of all bicycling goulish friends!
12 pm - 2 pm - Street Party in Rocheport with Live Music and Lunch options
Located on Main St. in front of the Rocheport General Store. Lunch and drink specials will be available. Enjoy a live performance from the tunes of Artie's Univibe. We will have a sag vehicle at the General Store for those who just aren't up or able to make the ride back (until 2:30)!
2 pm - Costume Contest in Rocheport! Followed by an epic short dance party in the train tunnel on the KATY Trail! Don't miss this!
2 pm - Post party at Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport
Monster Bike Bash participants get 20% off! Enjoy wine on the bluff top overlooking the Missouri River!
2 pm - 5 pm Ride back to Columbia
FORGET ABOUT DRIVING HOME! SPEND THE NIGHT!
