The Monster Bike Bash is a full day of bike riding, food, and entertainment. The bike ride traverses 20 miles of the most social and scenic section of the Katy Trail state park between Weldon Spring and Augusta, MO

9 am - 10 am Sign in at Weldon Spring Trail-head

9:30am -12 pm - Halloween Party in Defiance!

Katy Bike Rental - Coffee/Donuts and pick up Trick or Treat Bags

Yellow Farmhouse Vineyard & Winery - All costumed riders will receive free wine tasting (normally $5) and snacks, (cheese, chips, etc). The Wine Garden will be open and our serves will be costumed that day! We are the closest winery to the Trail Statewide, and it is only about 100' from the centerline of the Trail to our front door. We have bike racks for riders, rest rooms and free water. We have a book signing with Don Graveman on his new book about The Missouri river wine country from 3 to 5 PM.

Brand new Defiance 'city loop" bike trail, is open! It's a little loop trail off the KATY that takes bike riders through the heart of Defiance and back on to the KATY trail. Really nifty for pleasure riders!

10:30 am - 2 pm - Ride to Augusta with some great stops along the way!

Sugar Creek Winery - Beautiful winery on the top of the bluff (worth the bike ride up the hill). Stop in for some live music and to try some of our world-class dry, semi-dry and fruit wines, and relax on our wine terrace among fields of French and American Hybrid grapes.

My Grandpa's Farm - All day Halloween Party! Stop by on your way to Augusta and on your way back!

2pm - 3pm - Costume Contest, BBQ & Live Music at the Augusta Brewery

3 pm - 4 pm Visit local businesses of Augusta for more Wine/Beer/Food Tastings & Treats

4 pm Ride back to Weldon Springs

After Hours Halloween Party at My Grandpa's Farm - Bonfire at dark - Ghost Time on Farm (7 pm) - Haunted Farm Tour (9 pm) - Costume Ball (12 am - 4 am)

FORGET ABOUT DRIVING HOME! SPEND THE NIGHT!

Great B&B locations in Augusta and Defiance and camping at Klondike Park (call 636-949-7535).

GOOD RIDING & GOOD TIMES!

The ride is 10-miles each way (20.6 total) from the Weldon Springs trail to Augusta along the scenic Katy Trail. Along the way, experience beautiful bluffs, fall colors, and the Missouri River.

Participants will receive the following:

• Early-ride coffee/doughnuts
• Live music and Halloween bicycle festival in Augusta at the Augusta Brewery
• Costume contest in Augusta
• Free sag-wagon support

• Full day and all Night Party with special events and Auction the night of the ride at Daniel Boone's My Grandpa's Farm
