Mike
Denehy is an extreme endurance athlete. He embodies the joy of exercising
outdoors, short/long distance runs, adventure races, and countless RAGBRAI
rides. Last spring he decided to step up his bike riding to attempt the
TransIowa ride, a 320+ mile event on gravel roads in the hilliest
section of Iowa with 32 hours to complete it. Call him crazy, but
in the end, he just wants to have fun.
Fun resume - Countless RAGBRAIs, TransIowa finisher,
Low Car Diet finisher, PediCab driver for Shakespeare's Pizza, instigator
of good times past, present and future.

Alex Grisgby
Director of Photography
Raised by circus folk in Mid-Missouri Alex Grigsby is no stranger
to the bearded lady. After such short lived experiences such as
small person juggling, high wire jump rope, and the human rubbix
cube, Alex discovered the world of photography.
His passion for the art has taken him around the world. As the unauthorized
photographer
for the Dali Lama and Michael Jackson, Alex often gets close and personal
with his subjects. If you see him taking your photo on the course
this fall, be sure not to look into his seductive eyes and fall madly
in love with him.

Stephen Taylor
MidMo BRR Co-Director
Stephen
Taylor instigated the Mid-MO BRR Ride 7 years
ago after nearly dying at a party ride in Iowa.
Every year Iowans meet in early February to
ride in sub-freezing weather the Bike Ride to
Rippey.
During that event, he suffered from snowblindness
and acute orientering vertigo, becaming stranded
in the backwoods for 5 days. His friend Mike
D. became paralyzed from the neck up due to
SKA-intoxication. Building a fire for warmth
to survive, he fended off attacks by wolves,
bears, and assorted small woodland creatures
until both men were rescued by the Iowa national
guard.
When they were found, they were cooking
breakfast and lounging in lawn chairs next to
a campfire, drinking Old Milwaukees. When the ordeal was over, Mike and Steve decided,
"That was fun, lets invite some friends
next time."
He currently lives in Nashville, TN and uses
the Mid-MO BRR as an excuse to come back for
a fun party in Rocheport. His favorite past
time is running 50-mile ultramarathons, qualifying
for the triathlon world championship, and harassing
country music starts.
