FINAL UPDATE:
The XCX Cross Country Xtreme returns this Saturday! Unfortunately, the weather forecast predicts a warm fair weathered comfortable day. Fortunately, we have prepared extra hardcore/insane obstacles and bizarre surprises to make up for the nice weather. All participants will get a kick ass long sleeve XCX shirt this year! Get ready for the best XCX adventure yet!
There is plenty of space available in each of the different waves for new registration. If you would like to change your wave time you will be able to change into which ever wave you like on Saturday morning! Check in and registration will remain open until 9:30 am on Saturday!

8 am - 9:30 am - Check in and new registration
9 am - 9:45 am - XCX starts with waves every 15 minutes
10:30 am - Shakespeare's Pizza Party
10:45ish am - Costume Contest Battle
The Low Down
Date and Location : Saturday, November 19, 2011 - Midway Truckstop Sandbar in Columbia MO.
Time: Registration starts at 8:00 am - First wave of run starts at 9:00 a.m. - 2nd wave at 9:15 am - 3rd wave 9:30 am - 4th Wave at 9:45 am - Maxium of 250 people per wave.
Detail: The XCX cross country race is a 4 mile + off-road running adventure taking place through the forest surrounding the Midway Expo Sandbar. Participants run off-road trails, climb fences, hay bales, and steep painful hills, conquer obstacle courses, and splash through creeks aplenty!
Participants are also encouraged to dress in costume, run as fast/slow as their abilities serve them, and get as muddy as possible. The ultimate goal is to have a great time!
At the end of the race there is a celebration including food, drinks, music, and a bonfire for everyone involved. Anyone who survives the XCX adventure deserves some fun! |
